Posted: August 24, 2026

AI-MI Director Eun-Ah Kim (Cornell University) gave a talk on August 20, 2026 at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics program AI for Quantum Matter, a ten-week program running at UC Santa Barbara from July 27 through October 8, 2026. Her talk was titled “AI for quantum simulation towards hybrid learning.”

Kim is also one of the program’s scientific advisors, alongside Annabelle Bohrdt, Juan Carrasquilla and Antoine Georges. Coordinated by Eliska Greplova, Hsin-Yuan (Robert) Huang, Di Luo, Xiao-Liang Qi and Yi-Zhuang You, the program convenes the community working at the interface of machine learning and quantum many-body physics.
